Daniel has degrees in Economics, Oriental Languages and Computer Science from Cambridge University, UK. Joseph ElliottCo-founder & Engineer Joe was programming since about the age he learned to walk. His reputation is one of absolute dependability. He may be the only software engineer who could claim on polygraph never to have missed a deadline. This is due part to his speed and stamina at work, but mostly due to a cast-iron commitment to the project and a tenacious focus on the business goals. A serial entrepreneur, Joe has founded a number of companies prior to ThumbJive, including One 0 Development, Collaborative Computing Systems and Digital Spectrum. His recent resume includes wireless entertainment applications on BREW and Symbian, and Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment's interactive community platform Screenblast. His heart, however, is in games and mobile software, and he has a full catalog of cellphone applications to his name on BREW, J2ME, PalmOS and Mophun. He has consulted at a number of companies in the wireless sphere such as mForma and Fingertwitch, and with Daniel at Improvista Interactive Music. He has lead software development at a number of startups including nJaro where he built a J2EE based continuous improvement system, and 724 Solutions creating a Web data aggregation framework intended to deliver rich content to mobile phones.
