Hot-or-Not WAP (BETA) goes live
Point your hanset browser to http://hn.tjwap.net.
For some time we've been looking forward to doing something with
Hot-or-Not
- one of the first and still one of the most fun community websites around.
Since Jim and James were kind enough to offer their content via webservices we couldn't
resist knocking this one out over the weekend. Check back soon - we've got a lot more
goodies due for imminent release.

ThumbJive goes international with
a development office in Beijing's Silicon Valley - Zhong Guan Cun. Mr. Lionel Brahami,
a veteran manager of offshore technical teams in China, has been spending
the last two months setting things up and interviewing software engineers,
and we are kicking off with a talented team who have cleared our rigorous
tests. ThumbJive now has greater and more
scalable engineering bandwidth, and is now able to
undertake localization and testing of mobile applications for the China market.

WIRMI 2.0 has arrived. This is a major overhaul of
ThumbJive's client-server
code generation tool for Java and BREW. For techies,
WIRMI allows types APIs and business objects to be exposed to wireless clients
without writing a single line of client
code. For the non-techie, you get more
capable networked mobile apps faster, cheaper and of higher
quality. This redesign both reduces the code space and increases
the runtime efficiency by large factors. [more

Show off or try out your wireless application idea on your
cellphone without requiring any programming. Canned Demo is a new
ThumbJive product aimed at wireless
application business development and remote graphics teams. Think
of it like MS PowerPoint™ on the cellphone. Upload graphics,
text, sound and animation resources, arrange them using a web
interface, and then download a Canned Demo show into your
cellphone. With little effort you can create the look and feel of
a real product. [more

ThumbJive
moves uptown. After
bursting at the seams in our first office in
the Mission District we finally signed a three
year lease for a great new space in downtown
San Francisco. We now occupy the whole 10th
(top) floor of a building overlooking Union
Square with great views over the
metropolis.
