Phunkdat
(http://www.phunkdat.com) is a
virally distributed wireless entertainment
portal for hardcore gamers. Conceived and executed with our friends at
Seismic
Studios and Amplified Games
Phunkdat was launched at
E3 2005 in Los Angeles.
Built on our TJ-WAP framework,
Phunkdat contains quizzes, news, and surveys all
about PC and console gaming, plus a special E3-Booth-Babe-or-Not rating game. In
addition there are some (mostly tongue-in-cheek) games you can download
to your Java-enabled handset. You can also download
Snake'em Poker,
Thumbjive's original multiplayer game.
You can send your friends an SMS invitation to join your Phunkdat
network, and once connected you can send messages to them
individually or as a group. Earn 'phunkiness' points by increasing your network, and
win a Phunkdat T-Shirt or other prizes.
