WIRMI 2 makes it easy to add and modify advanced server-based features
to the application, reducing the cost of development and
accommodating late specification changes that would otherwise be
impossible. Also efficient packing of the data means lower cost and
higher performance for the mobile application user.
Technical Description:
WIRMI stands for Wireless RMI. Like RMI it uses binary encoding of
data which reduces the payload size and latency compared to XML or
text encoded data transfer.
Service stubs and serializer code for both client and server is
generated at build time from Java code using Java 5 Annotations:
no design, testing or debugging is required on the interface
protocol. WIRMI is also an automated solution for persisting complex
data on the client handset.
